Koh Haa Yai Snorkeling Cruise

ITINERARY: This is a very long day, but possibly worth it for the “once in a lifetime” experience. The Koh Haa archipelago is located around 2.5 hours to the south of Krabi, near to Koh Lanta and is home to some of the most diverse coral reefs in Thailand, all contained within its beautiful “lagoon”, a shallow area surrounded by three islands.

You will explore the lagoon, gliding over colourful coral gardens and perhaps swimming over to the shore of the incredible white sand beach. The water is crystal clear and there is an incredible range of marine life to be seen. On the deeper western side of the islands, larger pelagic creatures can be found – even the occasional whale shark (they are rare, but possible to spot).

You’ll be allowed two full 1 hr+ sessions to explore, with expert assistance from snorkel guides in the water, and also detailed marine life briefings on board. In between sessions, relax on deck and take in the incredible picture postcard scenery.

Comfort levels on board the cruise boat are high, with a toilet, shower, and dining area and two decks, both covered and uncovered. Lunch, early morning and afternoon snacks, soft drinks, electrolytes, tea and coffee are included in the trip price. Also already included in the price is the recently increased National Park Fee (400 THB).

Expected group size: 20 – 50 pax, depending on the day and time of year.

Important: Please provide the full names of all passengers and their shoe size in the order notes when you check out, so we can ensure the correct size fins are available for you on board.

This trip includes 2 open water snorkeling stops of around one hour each. It is possible to stay on the boat during this time. Please wear a life jacket if not a confident swimmer. Travel time to Koh Haa Yai is around 2.5 hours.
