Description
ITINERARY: Take a 40 minute scenic drive through rural villages to the incredible, karst-dotted Thalane Bay, located in the north of Krabi. Spend the morning or afternoon paddling in the cool shade of the Ao Thalane canyons. These towering cliffs protect the endangered mangrove environment at the coast. You’ll explore various coves and, if you’re lucky, see wild monkeys and other wildlife. Total paddle time is around 1.5 hours, not including breaks.
A set menu lunch is available after the morning session (use the booking form above) for those who prefer to eat before heading back. The regular tour price does not include a meal. Paddle guides are also available as an add-on service for this tour; they can take maximum one passenger each, so please book one per person requiring the service.
Note that although it is easier if all passengers on the kayak paddle, only one person actually needs to paddle, so children or less fit people can sit as passengers with an able adult and in this case no paddle guide will be required. Both 2 and 3 seater kayaks are available.
Expected group size: 6 – 20 pax, depending on the day and time of year.

Our trip this morning kayaking in Ao Tha lane was amazing. One of our favorites so far.
We were recommanded this instead of the Hot Springs and it was right!!! Our babygirl loved it as we saw monkeys.
Our guide was perfect and really kind.

A pleasant half-day activity that offered a little bit of exercise as well, exactly what I wanted. The guide/s was friendly, as were the fellow kayakers, although one cannot guarantee the latter for others, obviously. I kayak from time to time generally, in similar surrounds as well, and I would suggest that others like me not expect anything mind-blowingly different, but this does not detract from the trip and for those who do not do such things often or who live in very different environs, this will be even better for you.

The tour was amazing this morning. We even have chance to stop and enjoy the view of the limestone area and mangrove forest! The guides are very knowledgeble and friendly too and they never fail to answer my questions about everything..And yeah they can command in English! so this is my favourite tour so far in Krabi. I would recommend this trip especially for people with no experience!
