Description
Itinerary: This basic tour will take you to the main islands in the Hong group. On the way, you will stop at the rock island of Koh Daeng, in front of which is a large reef, with hard and soft coral, and plenty of fish. The second stop will be Koh Lahding, also known as Paradise Island, in a beautiful sandy cove that is home to a group of birds’ nest collectors. More snorkeling can be done here, close to the beach.
Travel on to Koh Hong, with its twin bays of white powdery sand. A buffet lunch is served at picnic tables, and then the afternoon is completely at your leisure to relax, sunbathe, swim or explore a short nature trail. There will also be a cruise into the large lagoon at the centre of the island, that gives it its name (Hong = room or chamber in Thai), scheduled to fit in with the tides on the day.
Expected group size: 10 – 40 pax, depending on the day and time of year. Note: the larger the group, the larger the boat provided.
Important: This trip includes 2 open water snorkeling stops of around 30 minutes. It is possible to stay on the boat during this time. Please wear a life jacket if not a confident swimmer. There are also fish that can be seen in the shallow water around Hong beach, which is good for children who are not able to snorkel. Travel time to Koh Hong is around 45 minutes.
NOTE: since 18 June 2015, customers on island-hopping tours that stop at beaches with ranger stations are subject to pay National Park entry fees. For Koh Hong, the rate is 300 THB per adult and 150 THB per child, payable in cash on the day of travel and not included in your ticket price.

Just ok. It’s a pretty basic trip (we saw the same one for sale here for 700 Bahts per person, but with a different company). The journey there is quite long and the islands are crowded. Recommend “4 Islands” over this one.
