Tolmaj Family Apartment: A unique proposal for large groups of friends or families in Ao Nang, this huge, centrally located apartment offers excellent value for money, with the in-room facilities of a 4-5 star resort.

The large communal spaces mean that even at maximum capacity the apartment will never feel crowded, plus the presence of multiple TVs and DVD players allow fights over the remote control to be easily resolved! The apartment is European managed and is run in such a way that guests may choose to be as independent or as catered for as they wish - buying and cooking their own food, or ordering in and having it delivered and prepared.

The apartment owner has recently organised free access for guests to the leaisure facilities (swimming pool and gym) at next door Pavilion Queen's Bay Resort, during November to April only. Outside of this time, pool access fees will need to be factored into the cost of your stay if this is important for you.

The following information has been provided directly by the apartment owners: In July 2007, “Tolmaj” family apartment opened its doors to accommodate families who travel with more than the standard 2-4 people. The apartment is ideal for people who need more space and who like to stay independently with self-catering kitchen and dining facilities.

- The location is only 5 min walking distance from Ao Nang and Nopparatthara Beaches, in a safe area surrounded by 4 & 5 star hotels. It is close to the shops, restaurants and nightlife of the main beach promenade, but far enough away to have some privacy from the crowds.

- The 3 floor apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, with 4 private bedrooms and large communal spaces. Furnishings are primarily teak-wood produced in the north of Thailand and carefully chosen to create a warm and welcome feeling for our guests.

- All the living-rooms and bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Accommodation
The ground floor of the building is home to “Carnivore Steak & Grill” , an international steak restaurant with an excellent reputation in the Krabi region. Next to the restaurant is the entrance to “Tolmaj” family apartment. The apartment is arranged over 3 floors and comprises 4 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms; 2 living areas, with kitchen, bar and dining room; and 3 outdoor terraces. We are able to accommodate up to 10 guests at any time.

1st floor: On the 1st floor can be found the first of two spacious, open-plan living-rooms (80sq.m), with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The computer corner, with high speed internet connection, is also located here. This can be used unlimited and free of charge by the guests during their stay. There is also a TV and DVD player with sofas. The living room opens out onto a large balcony that runs the entire width of the building. The view from this terrace is of a neighbouring building. 2 normal hotel-sized, tastefully decorated bedrooms are accessed from the 1st floor living area. Both are double (king size 4-poster bed) and have en-suite bathrooms with warm/cold water showers.

2nd floor: Stairs leading up to the 2nd floor come out into another spacious, stylish decorated living-room with TV and DVD player, rattan sofa-set, full size bar and a guest-toilet. The living room again has large picture windows that open onto a large balcony running the entire width of the building. This overlooks a neighbouring building. The master bedroom (king size 4-poster bed) accessed from the living area is a grand 42sqm, including a large walk-in closet (which can be used as a spare bedroom), large bathroom with a warm & cold water shower.

3rd floor: At the top of the apartment is a marvellous 40sqm attic suite, with both living-room and bedroom areas and polished wooden floors. This room has its own TV and DVD player and decorative furniture, including a king size 4-poster bed. Outside is a 24sqm. terrace decorated with tropical plants, with views across the Andaman Sea, which will serve as the perfect area to enjoy your “sundowners”. You may like to enjoy a full BBQ dinner on this terrace on one of the evenings during your stay (something that can be organised by your hosts). In this room there is the possibility to add an extra bed.
