DISCOUNTED RATES
Many hotels cut their room prices
May - October is traditionally the time when hotels lower their rates, but this year many are going even lower than normal, or offering "stay 3 pay 2" packages. Check out Railay Bay Resort, Peace Laguna Resort, Tipa Resort and Andaman Sunset Resort for some real bargains.
Apartments and villas for rent in Krabi
There is a small, but growing number of self-catering houses, villas and apartments available for rent on a nightly basis in the Ao Nang area. They make ideal accommodation for families and groups of friends travelling together. The majority of them are high quality properties with in-room facilities equivalent to a four or five star hotel, so they offer a great deal of benefits other than space and kitchen and dining facilities. Compared with the prices for individual hotel rooms, the other, financial, advantage of this type of self-catering property is also self-evident.
Some of the villas listed here are at several kilometres distance from the beach; however most of these have a private garden and swimming pool. More centrally located apartments are usually without swimming pool, though access to a nearby resort pool can usually be negotiated once you are here. Please read the reviews provided carefully: as each property is individually owned and managed, services and facilities can vary greatly, although all offer daily cleaning services. One final note: none of these apartments or villas cater for single-sex groups on stag or hen holidays.
