As the beach area in Ao Nang becomes more and more crowded, lots of new hotels are opening up further away. Krabi Apartment is one of these, and would be an ideal choice for those staying several weeks in the area, or those looking for a non-traditional hotel set-up. Like the majority of these new establishments, Krabi Apartment provides excellent value for money, offering good facilities for low rates - ostensibly to compensate for being far from the beach, but given how easy and cheap it is to get around in Krabi, we think there would be little compromise involved in staying here.
Located in Ao Nang village, in a residential area known as Leela Valley, Krabi Apartment offers 8 self-catering, non-smoking suites in a 3-storey block with small swimming pool. Each suite is comprised of a living / dining / kitchen area (with electric stove) that opens out onto a balcony or terrace; a bedroom; and a bathroom.
The suites / apartments are fairly compact, but nonetheless well-designed - the dining table, for instance, folds up flat against the wall, giving extra space when you are not eating, or for an extra bed in the living area for families. Fixtures and fittings are high quality, international brands and the suites are air-conditioned throughout (excepting the bathroom).
Balconies are all south-facing, allowing maximum light; the 2 ground floor apartments open out directly onto the pool area. In addition, there is a lovely, breezy roof terrace, with a nice view of the cliffs and sea in the distance - a good place to sunbathe, or read a book.
As well as WI-FI internet access, Krabi Apartment also offers laptop rental should you not wish to bring your own computer.
The whole of Krabi Apartment, including the communal spaces and garden, is spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and helpful and can arrange taxis or scooter rental should you wish to go down to the beach. Local restaurants (street food)and convenience stores are a short 300m walk away.

Cancellation Policy
Krabi Apartment will charge the following cancellation penalties:
- Cancellation or early check out notified to resort more than 14 days before arrival: no charge.
- Cancellation or early check out notified less than 14 days before arrival: two nights' stay.
- No show or early check out: no refund will be given.
Please note than following cancellation, any refund due under the hotel policy above will be subject to a processing charge of 5% of refund value + 350 THB to cover bank costs.
Amendments to any booking (e.g. change of dates, extension of stay) that do not require a refund may be made free of charge.
